A group of quotes--either Good or Evil--from writers, artists, scientists, inventors, musicians, philosophers, politicians, activists, films, etc. that have espoused Truth or Wisdom.
"If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face--for ever," said O'Brien, while torturing Winston in the book 1984 by George Orwell.
"(...) Forward, he cried from the rear / And the front rank died (...) Listen, son, said the man with the gun / There's room for you inside' (...)" -Pink Floyd from Dark Side of the Moon
"The last word in ignorance is the man who says of an animal or plant. 'What good is it?'" -Aldo Leopold, a philosopher and environmental conservationist.
"To know and not to do is not to know." -Wang Yangming, ancient-philospher from China.
"A right is not what someone gives you; it's what no one can take from you." -Ramsey Clark
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain." -A Bene Gesserit saying, from the Dune series by Frank Herbert.
"The hand of Vengeance found the bed to which the Purple Tyrant fled; the iron hand crush'd the Tyrant's head and became a Tyrant in his stead." -William Blake from the poem, The Grey Monk.
"From these great staffs, both of the old parties have ganged aside. Instead of instruments to promote the general welfare they have become the tools of corrupt interests which use them in martialling to serve their selfish purposes. Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day. Unhampered by tradition, uncorrupted by power, undismayed by the magnitude of the task, the new party offers itself as the instrument of the people, to sweep away old abuses, to build a new and nobler government." -Theodore Roosevelt, from A Confession of Faith, an address delivered in 1912.
"Fight the real enemy!" -Singer-songwriter, Sinead O'Connor rips up a picture of the then Pope, live on Saturday Night Live, in 1992.
"Military men are just dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns in foreign policy" -Henry Kissinger was a career-politician and degenerate scumbag. If you control food, you control people; if you control oil, you control nations; if you control money, you control the world. -Another famous paraphrase that can be traced back to Kissinger, in a Rapid City Journal (South Dakota) clipping, circa Oct. 30, 1985 or a Fort Lauderdale News (Florida) clipping, circa Sept. 24, 1975.
"Water is, of course, the most important raw material we have today in the world. It's a question of whether we should privatize the normal water supply for the population. And there are two different opinions on the matter. The one opinion, which I think is extreme, is represented by the NGOs, who bang on about declaring water a public right. That means that as a human being you should have a right to water. That's an extreme solution. The other view says that water is a foodstuff like any other, and like any other foodstuff it should have a market value. Personally, I believe it's better to give a foodstuff a value so that we're all aware it has its price, and then that one should take specific measures for the part of the population that has no access to this water, and there are many different possibilities there." -Peter Brabeck-Letmathe, a former chairman and CEO of Nestlé.
"Kevin, 99% of what you do on that show is real. The 1% you get wrong is you could never get an education bill passed that fast." -Bill Clinton, former president, said this about a fictional, Television-Program (House of Cards) in which a major politician uses Coercion, bribes and murder to get ahead. Picture of Clinton in blue dress, found at a home of Jeffrey Epstein's(operative whom used pedophelia to blackmail elite or pedophile-pimp for the elite--both?)
“The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world.” -From Tragedy and Hope by Carroll Quigley
"People are taking the piss out of you everyday. They butt into your life, take a cheap shot at you and then disappear. They leer at you from tall buildings and make you feel small. They make flippant comments from buses that imply you're not sexy enough and that all the fun is happening somewhere else. They are on TV making your girlfriend feel inadequate. They have access to the most sophisticated technology the world has ever seen and they bully you with it. They are The Advertisers and they are laughing at you. You, however, are forbidden to touch them. Trademarks, intellectual property rights and copyright law mean advertisers can say what they like wherever they like with total impunity. Fuck that. Any advert in a public space that gives you no choice whether you see it or not is yours. It's yours to take, re-arrange and re-use. You can do whatever you like with it. Asking for permission is like asking to keep a rock someone just threw at your head. You owe the companies nothing. Less than nothing, you especially don't owe them any courtesy. They owe you. They have re-arranged the world to put themselves in front of you. They never asked for your permission, don't even start asking for theirs." -Banksy
"This is a farewell kiss from the Iraqi people, you dog! This is for the widows and oprhans and all those killed in Iraq." -Mutadhar al-Zaidi, an Iraqi journalist, said while throwing a shoe at George W. Bush at a press conference in Bagdad, 2008. “There has been too much violence. Too much pain. None here are without sin. But I have an honorable compromise. Just walk away. I will give you safe passage in the Wasteland. Just walk away and there will be an end to the horror,” -From, the film, Mad Max 2 "The Road Warrior" in which the raider, Lord Humungus uses Fear, Violence and Coercion to manipulate survivors of the apocolypse. A reflection of Imperialist, Colonialist and Facist tactics of domination.
"As the wolf attacks the sheep, so come we." -Joseph Goebbels was a degenerate and Adolf Hitler's Propaganda Minister.
"All propaganda should be popular and should adapt its intellectual level to the perception of the least intelligent of those toward whom it intends to direct itself. Therefore, its intellectual level must be screwed the lower, the greater the mass of people which one wants to attract." -Adolf Hitler, Evil incarnate.
"In the year 2000, the richest and most powerful 1% of the worlds population owned 40% of all global assets. The richest 10% accounted together for 85% of total assets. In stark contrast, the bottom half of the worlds population, divided between them barely made 1% of global wealth." -From the documentary, I Am Fishead
"Books are good company, in sad times and happy times, for books are people--people who have managed to stay alive and hide between the covers of a book." -E.B. White, author.
